To better serve the needs of our customers, we have designed a lean, integrated manufacturing facility that maximizes efficient process flow guided by rigid quality standards. We have the capability to combine conventional stamping or fineblanking with complete process flexibility, including e-coat, heat treatment and deburring.
Maximum precision manufacturing processes
- Precision stamping and fineblanking (5-800 ton capacity)
- Transfer and progressive die technologies
- Welding — projection welding and resistance welding
- Vibratory finishing
- Deburring processes
- Automated assembly
- Riveting and bolt staking
- Thermal and mechanical flattening
- Precision machining
- Computer-aided design and FEA
Conventional stamping and fineblanking
With transfer and progressive die capabilities — our conventional and fineblanking presses range from 5–800 Tons, meaning we have the capability to supply most small to medium sized stampings.
Welding
Projection and resisting welding. These processes can be performed manually or robotically.
Mechanical fastening
Riveting, toggle or Tox Lock and automated bolt staking.
Deburring/Finishing
SPM can sand, vibe, belt sand and brush or coin deburr parts providing a variety of surface finishes, including SPM’s (patent pending) textured surface. (under development)
General assembly
Including (but not limited to) the application of sealants, bonding agents or general hand assembly.
Precision machining
Grinding, tapping, etc.
